초록

  본 연구는 예비유아교사를 대상으로 셀프리더십과 교직인･적성 관계를 파악하여, 유아교사를 양성하는 교육기관에서 교사의 교직인･적성 향상을 위한 교육프로그램을 구성하는데 있어 어떻게 접근해야하는지, 예비교사의 교직인･적성을 향상시키기 위해 어떻게 지도할 것인지에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 교직인･적성을 예측할 수 있는 변인은 셀프리더십의 하위전략 중 행동중심전략이었다. 셀프리더십의 하위전략이 교직인･적성 하위변인에 대한 설명력은, 행동중심전략이 문제해결･탐구력, 지도성, 공감･포용력, 봉사･희생･협동, 소명감･교직관을 예측할 수 있으며, 자연보상전략은 심리적 안정성, 공감･포용력을 예측할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 교직양성과정에서 교직인･적성 하위변인 중 문제해결･탐구력, 지도성, 공감･포용력, 봉사･희생･협동, 소명감･교직관을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램에 행동중심전략을, 심리적 안정성, 공감･포용력을 향상하기 위한 프로그램을 구성할 때는 자연보상전략을 포함하는 것이 효과적이라는 시사점을 준다.

ABSTRACT

  The goal of this study was to investigate the relationship between pre-service kindergarten teachers' self-leadership strategies and teaching personalities and aptitudes. The participants in the study were 50 pre-service kindergarten teachers in T City. The findings of the study revealed that the group with better self-leadership had better teaching personalities and aptitudes than those with less effective self-leadership. Among the sub-components of self-leadership, it was found that the behavior-centered strategy was the most significant predictor. This study showed that the behavior-centered strategy could predict problem-solving skill and research capacity, leadership, sympathy and tolerance, consciousness of service, sacrifice, cooperation, and professional teaching ethic and sense of vocational calling. The natural reward strategy could enhance the teacher’s sympathy, tolerance, and psychological stability. Finally, this study addressed the fact that several methods could be implemented to support the development of teaching personality and aptitude programs for pre-service kindergarten teachers.
